Lauren Loeb is currently a first-year gastroenterology fellow at the Mayo Clinic in Florida, where she also completed her internal medicine residency training. She earned her medical degree from the University of South Alabama and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Alabama. She has a strong clinical and research interest in inflammatory bowel disease, and she is currently investigating the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of virtual reality for the treatment of abdominal pain in quiescent Crohn's Disease.
